The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates advanced technology and a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists designed for reliable performance in routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a currently driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional specifications include a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake attributed to the fan-cooled motor, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly while meeting RoHS requirements, and they exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
