The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley and is designed for high quality and low headroom applications, ensuring reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that prevents release unless the motor is energized, Grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a five-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life. The hoists are equipped with a fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. Compliance and certifications include UL listing to UL 1340, conformance to RoHS requirements, and exceeding ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying factory load testing at 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
