The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with the latest technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter for tracking lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and prolong chain life, and a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor. Additional attributes comprise low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, are built environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
