The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates advanced technology and features a push/pull trolley, ensuring high quality and low headroom while delivering reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, Grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for a cooler operating temperature, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate that verifies it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
