The NERP Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive that offers exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology system with a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability alongside integral hour count functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts as well as hoist operational time. The design incorporates a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, and low profile upper and lower limit switches with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying it has been factory load tested to 125% of the rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
