The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, utilizing a current driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, as well as a Grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The variable frequency drive allows for speed adjustability and includes integral hour counting functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoists are designed with a five-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake attributed to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. All hoists come with a test certificate verifying they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
