The Nerp Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley equipped with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, offering exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, as well as grade 80 nickel-plated load chains. The variable frequency drive provides speed adjustability and has integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist operational time. Additionally, a 5-pocket load sheave reduces vibration and extends chain life, while the fan-cooled motor contributes to cooler motor and brake performance. The hoists also come with low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly, meeting RoHS requirements, and exceeding ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
