The NERP Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley equipped with an under the cover variable frequency drive, enabling exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian," which is a smart brake technology that utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that will not release unless the motor is energized, a Grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional attributes consist of a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake resulting from the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
