The Nerp Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows speed adjustability and integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake facilitated by a fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly meeting RoHS requirements, and exceeding the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying it has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
