The NERP Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which is a current driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, and a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The hoists offer a variable frequency drive for speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional features include a 5 pocket load sheave for reduced vibration and extended chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
