The NERP Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley equipped with an under the cover variable frequency drive, enabling exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current driven electromagnetic brake that prevents release unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that offers speed adjustability and integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoists include a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan cooled motor for a cooler motor and brake operation, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
