The NERP Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington includes a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, offering exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features encompass "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, along with a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The variable frequency drive allows for speed adjustability and has integral count hour functionality, recording and displaying the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design features a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. This series of hoists is UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in accordance with RoHS requirements, and exceeds ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of the rated capacity, following ASME B30.16 standards.
