The Nerp Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and adjustable speeds with a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, and a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The variable frequency drive enables speed adjustability and has integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoists incorporate a 5-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for a cooler operation, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly as they meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
