The NERP Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a variable frequency drive for speed adjustability, and integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoists are designed with a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, and low profile upper and lower limit switches. They come equipped with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist includes a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
