The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key attributes include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology with a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral counting hour functionality, which records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional features comprise a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor contributing to cooler motor and brake performance, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly as they meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each unit is accompanied by a test certificate verifying that the hoist has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
