The NERP Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, which enables exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability and integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist runtime. The design includes a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake facilitated by a fan-cooled motor, as well as low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
