The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature a variable frequency drive under the cover, providing remarkable load control and field-adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology with a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral hour count functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor that promotes cooler operation for both the motor and brake, and low-profile upper and lower limit switches. The hoists come equipped with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. All hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, constructed to be environmentally friendly and compliant with RoHS requirements, and they exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming that it has undergone factory load testing at 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
