The NERP Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington includes a push/pull trolley with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive that offers exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features encompass "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is powered; a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain; a variable frequency drive that allows speed adjustability and has an integral hour counter to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time; a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life; a cooler motor and brake facilitated by a fan-cooled motor; low profile upper and lower limit switches; and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly as they meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. All hoists come with a test certificate that verifies they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
