The NER Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporate an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control with field adjustable two speeds featuring up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized; a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain; and a variable frequency drive that allows speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design features a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, and low profile upper and lower limit switches. The hoists come with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist includes a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
