The NERP Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, Grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality, which records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoists feature a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake thanks to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS environmental requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
