The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley combined with an under the cover variable frequency drive, offering exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian": smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability alongside an integral hour counter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoists also feature a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly and meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, all hoists come with a test certificate confirming that they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
