The NER Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability and integral hour counting functionality, which records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoists are equipped with a 5-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, along with a cooler motor and brake, attributed to the fan-cooled motor. Additional attributes include low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
