The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, variable frequency drive enabling speed adjustability and integral hour counting functionality which records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a cooler motor and brake facilitated by a fan-cooled motor, as well as low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in accordance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, following ASME B30.16 standards.
