The NERP Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized. The hoist is equipped with Grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability and includes an integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional features comprise a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, as well as low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
