The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability and includes integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional specifications encompass a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor, and low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly and compliant with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
