The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington utilize advanced technology to deliver high quality, low headroom, and full-featured performance suitable for both routine tasks and demanding environments. Key features include "The Guardian," which is a smart brake technology utilizing a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life. The hoists feature a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, as well as low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly complying with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate that verifies it has been factory load tested to 125% of the rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
