The NERP Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive that enables exceptional load control and allows for field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian," which is smart brake technology that utilizes a current driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that offers speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoists include a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan cooled motor that contributes to a cooler motor and brake, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly and meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying it has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
