The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, offering exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, as well as a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The variable frequency drive allows for speed adjustability and includes an integral hour count functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, while the fan-cooled motor ensures cooler motor and brake operations. Additional attributes include low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, meet RoHS environmental standards, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
