The NERP Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability and incorporates an integral hour counter functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist operating time. Additionally, the design includes a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake thanks to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
