The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive that enhances load control and offers field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that provides speed adjustability while incorporating integral hour count functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, all hoists come with a test certificate verifying that they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
