The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology utilizing a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, and a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain. The variable frequency drive allows for speed adjustability and includes integral hour counting functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional attributes include a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor that ensures cooler operation for both the motor and brake, and low profile upper and lower limit switches. The hoists are supplied with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
