The NERP Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key attributes include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology utilizing a current driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoists are equipped with a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, as well as a cooler motor and brake resulting from a fan-cooled motor. The design includes low profile upper and lower limit switches along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly while meeting RoHS requirements, and they exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
