The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which consists of a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized; a grade 80 nickel plated load chain; and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability and has integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoist is designed with a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, along with a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor. Additional attributes include low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with environmentally friendly RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
