The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature an under the cover variable frequency drive that offers exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian," which is smart brake technology that utilizes a current driven electromagnetic brake that does not release unless the motor is energized, along with a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The variable frequency drive allows for speed adjustability and has an integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additional attributes include a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. All hoists come with a test certificate verifying that the hoist has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
