The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered using advanced technology, resulting in high-quality, low-headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance for both routine tasks and challenging working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life. The cooler motor and brake are attributed to the fan-cooled motor design, while low-profile upper and lower limit switches enhance safety and usability. Additionally, the hoists come with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly and compliant with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist includes a test certificate verifying factory load testing to 125% of the rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16 standards.
