The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates advanced technology, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, fully-featured hoists that deliver dependable performance in both routine and challenging work environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is powered, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a built-in hour meter that records the number of lowering starts and hoist operational time. The design features a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, along with a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. Additionally, these hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly in accordance with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist includes a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
