The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered using advanced technology to deliver high quality, low headroom, and full-featured hoists that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. The kit includes features such as "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, Grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operation time. Additional attributes encompass a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for a cooler operation of the motor and brake, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly as they meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying it has undergone factory load testing at 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
