The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan cooled motor that results in a cooler motor and brake, and low profile upper and lower limit switches. The hoists come with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying factory load testing at 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
