The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features advanced technology to deliver high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, and low profile upper and lower limit switches. Additionally, the hoists come with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly as they meet ROHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each unit includes a test certificate verifying that the hoist has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
