The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver dependable performance in both routine and severe working conditions. Key features of these hoists include "The Guardian": smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized. Additionally, they come equipped with a Grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life. The cooler operation of the motor and brake is facilitated by a fan-cooled motor, while low profile upper and lower limit switches enhance safety. Each hoist includes plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Furthermore, all hoists are accompanied by a test certificate verifying that each unit has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
