The NER Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington were designed using the latest technology, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, Grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a five-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life. The hoists are equipped with a fan-cooled motor for a cooler operation, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
