The NER Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature an under the cover variable frequency drive, offering exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with an impressive 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized. The hoists are equipped with grade 80 nickel plated load chains, a variable frequency drive for speed adjustability and integral count hour functionality that tracks and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the design includes a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and enhance chain life, and a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake operation. The low-profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords, add to the overall functionality of the hoists. These units are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS environmental standards, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating.
