The NER Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability alongside integral hour counting functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operational time. The hoists are designed with a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and enhance chain life, a fan-cooled motor that results in a cooler motor and brake, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and convenient plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, constructed to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, all hoists are supplied with a test certificate verifying that they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
