The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that enhances load control with field adjustable two speeds offering up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability and includes integral hour count functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist operational time. Additionally, the hoists are designed with a 5-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for cooler operation, and low-profile upper and lower limit switches. They also come equipped with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in accordance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, as per ASME B30.16 standards.
