The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and allows for field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, and a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain. The variable frequency drive offers speed adjustability and includes integral hour counting functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a five-pocket load sheave that minimizes vibration and extends chain life, as well as a cooler motor and brake thanks to a fan-cooled motor. Additional features include low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
