The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with cutting-edge technology to ensure high quality and low headroom while delivering reliable performance in both routine and demanding environments. The kit includes features such as "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays lowering starts and hoist on time, and a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life. Additionally, the hoists are equipped with a fan-cooled motor for improved thermal management, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
