The NER Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature an under the cover variable frequency drive, which offers exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability and integral hour count functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a fan cooled motor which contributes to cooler motor and brake operation, and low profile upper and lower limit switches along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate that verifies it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
