The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporates advanced technology to deliver high-quality, low headroom, and full-featured hoists that ensure reliable performance in both routine and challenging working conditions. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter for tracking lowering starts and operational time, a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and prolong chain life, and a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor. Additionally, the hoists feature low-profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly as they meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
