The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists designed for reliable daily performance in both routine applications and challenging working environments. The hoists feature "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized. Additional features include grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a five-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life. The fan-cooled motor contributes to a cooler operating temperature for both the motor and brake, while low profile upper and lower limit switches enhance safety. The kit includes plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
