The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive with speed adjustability and integral hour count functionality, which records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoists include a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled design, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. All hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
